The Chrysler Institute of Engineering (CIE) Program is a highly selective two-year program that offers a unique opportunity for work and study. It couples exposure to many facets of the Chrysler Group LLC with the chance to complete a Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
In short, the program develops the fundamentals of future engineering leaders.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
During your first two years in the CIE Program, you will take part in seven rotational assignments—lasting four months each—within the Engineering, Powertrain, Quality and Manufacturing organizations. You’ll also attend an engineering-oriented graduate program at one of six local universities. We provide paid time off during the work week for class in order to allow you to complete your Master’s degree while completing your CIE work assignments.
You will also be assigned an Executive Sponsor as a mentor to guide you through the CIE Program and facilitate your career progression.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
To be considered for the program, you must meet the following requirements:
BSME, BSEE degrees are preferred. We also consider candidates with BS degrees in Aerospace/Aeronautical, Agricultural, Chemical, Biomedical/Biomechanical, Civil, Materials and Metallurgical Engineering. All degrees must be from an ABET-accredited program.
